Im using the free app.  When you download the map you can download it for free a couple of times for different devices.

It was free for me, but I'm on android. Make sure you register on line too. Plus it has a feature called buddybeacon so someone at home could watch and track your position.

This is why I love ni wild. Just downloaded free version.  I use strava when running but this will be useful when needing navigation in the hills.  Strava great for recording. Distances etc but was never really sure what Craic was with this app, ie was it worth it. Seems it is.  Will try it out sat.  I also carry a mobile charger as get around 9ish hours out of my I phone when using strava.  Just as a back up really.

I was just chatting to Redleader on Skype and said exactly the same thing.  24hrs ago there was no way I could afford SatNav for the mountains.  A bit of chat on here and I have downloaded the free App and bought the £9.99 OS Activity map of the Mournes and it looks totally awesome.

I like the paper and compass but use MICoach for data .Free app for Androids
