Nice one Lenny!

Did you have any of your tape slapped on them or were you au naturel?

That resin finish takes no prisoners.

Haven't been on the forums for ages due to work but I'll be making an effort of going tonight. Going to be so rusty but looking forward to it!

I heard it was good. Do you need to be a student to use it?

nope, they run a climbing course in the summer which is 65 for members or 80 or so for non members, I think the guest rate to use the wall per use is 4 pounds. you dont have to be a student, they do public memberships, I'm not a student myself!

I inquired about the cost of dropping into the climbing wall for a one-off session and got this reply today:

"The only pay and go option that we have is for students, and this cost is £4 for QUB students and £6 for any other university/school. If you are not a student the only way to gain casual access is to come as a guest of a member, and the charge for this is £9."

Here's their prices for public membership:

ah that changes things a bit, but to be fair that 9 pounds does also give you access to a fitness suite, free weights room (really well equipped), strength and conditioning suite, olympic pool, diving pool and sauna among other things!

9 quid?!

That must include a goodie bag & a "I went all the way to the top at QUB" T-shirt.

Edit: just seen your post robertsreilly. Is the pool 50m? I use to drive down to Dublin a few times a year to use the Olympic pool down there. £9 doesn't seem to bad if you make a day out of it.
DW used to charge a tenner for non member single day use!

Lol, i know, we're spoilt over at the Ozone, but they've raised their prices as well, it's a whopping £4.20 a session now. :o

Indoor/Outdoor: Indoor Pool Length: 25 Meters
Lanes: 6
Pool Width: 13 Meters Chlorine-Free: Yes
Pool Depth: 1.2 Meters (something like 6' 4 at deep end.)
Shape: Rectangle

I was mistaken, it feels bigger to me, but I'm not serious about my swimming.

Yeah, £9 does seem reasonable if you get access to the rest of those amenities, what size is the climbing wall over there? The Ozone wall is roughly 15 metres in height by about 40 meters in length including the two bouldering sections.
