It was a class weekend. Loved every minute of it.
I was in Castlewellan spending money during the week, Rostrevor/Kilbroney and Newry. Despite coming down from Belfast I decided to stay in a local B&B (Fir trees) saved driving up and down. Great stay and a lovely location with a top class fry in the morning. The Kilbroney Pub and Steak House was packed on sunday night. We had a great meal to set me up for Monday. The whistledown Hotel was packed for Glyn O'Briens Relaunch of Firsttracksmtb.com. The campsites seemed full up too and all the walkers and locals stopped to have a look at what was going on.
Amazing world class destination for Walkers, Mountain bikers, Families, campers etc. On our door step I cant wait to show this place to a group of 13 Catalans I have visiting in June.
The Enduro was hard work with around 3450ft elevation gain in 20 odd miles. Everyone loved it and the crowds on the course appreciated our efforst I think.
My account of the weekend and some videos from the enduro stages.
