The MREs are pretty awesome but hard to get these days as the MOD has cracked down on their resale. 666_Pack eats them - I hunted the internet but was never able to find anywhere that would sell them at a reasonable price.

Only downside is they tend to be quite heavy (as all boil in the bag ready meals tend to be).

I reckon priced at a tenner, thats pretty good value considering all the stuff you get in them. Plus theres no messing about, boil it, eat it!

Thats true. They're easy to make and after you boil them you can use the hot water for drinks plus nothing to wash up.
I think the full pack even contains a hexi block stove.

By the looks of the menu I think they are the new ones, The old ones used to be boil in the bag beef burger and beans for breakfast and all sorts of weird things! apparantly some smart people have worked out what the body (a soldier) needs when their on exercise thats why they are weird meals. They are awesome tho, the chocolate was the best I'd ever had and I actually used to look forward to getting them!

I wouldn't mind taking a coupla those packs if you're splitting them, but I wouldn't be wanting any more than two.

I'd take a few - just to see what they're like - if that helps...
