Hi Gear from Go Outdoors
« on: November 15, 2016 »

Got an email the other day from Go Outdoors advertising these down jackets for £50 -

http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-packlite-alpinist-jacket

Does anyone have any experience of this brand? For £50, I wouldn't be expecting the world, but seems a bit of a bargain if it would do as a backup or something.

I'm a big fan of the slightly more 'budget' brands (Trespass, Mountain Warehouse, Regatta), when it comes to clothing anyway, as I've damaged a view more expensive things in the past and they do as good a job as I need them to. Not as worried if I snag a £50 jacket as I am when it's >£100 (still annoying, though!).

Thanks
