Contacting the police for a non-emergency
« on: October 27, 2009 »

Sometimes you can have a situation which is troublesome but not necessarily worth dialling 999 for. In this case you should call 0845 600 8000. I've had reason in the past to feel like calling the police but for it not to be serious enough for a 999 call (yoofs throwing stones at me while I was canoeing down the lagan - little bastards).

Just thought it might be useful!!

i,ll tell you whats usefull in a situation like that dude......a barnett diablo! and a big bag of ball bearings.

then when your back in your car,you drive down there and beat the living shit out of the ones you recognise.

i think thats reasonable, dont you?

thats the number you can call when you just want to vent! I doubt the police would actually come out if you said someone was throwing stones at you, sure they would hardly even come out if your sitting on a burglar or something.

True but you still have to moan. Hopefully if enough people do then the rozzers might pay a bit of attention if it appears regular.
