Title: Pioneer Bushcraft and Survival Course- September 1st-2nd 2012
Post by: NI Survival School on June 22, 2012
Hi NI-Wild!

Due to numerous requests we have fixed a new date for our level 2 advanced bushcraft course, the 'Pioneer'. We would prefer that students have attended a basic bushcraft course before hand e.g The seedling course, but we are happy to discuss individual experience.

The course starts Saturday morning at 10am and ends on Sunday afternoon.

The course is significantly more advanced than the seedling and you will experience hunger and tiredness just like in a real survival scenario.

We will be covering aspects of camp craft, natural cordage, foraging, primitive traps and trapping, advanced fire creation and utilization and the fundamentals of flint knapping blades among other skills. Overnight will be spent in a student built primitive shelter. You will also get the opportunity to build and experience a traditional sweat lodge in the forest.

The principles we learned on the seedling will be expanded upon and developed. There will be lots of new information and hands on lessons as you would expect from us.

It will be a very enjoyable course and we hope you can join us.

There are ONLY 8 places on this course and it is the only one planned for the year.

Price is £145 per person.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thanks

Andy and Paul
