Good spots for a 2 day bivvy
« on: August 13, 2009 »

I was listening to the Outdoors Station podcast this morning and they were doing a 2 day coastal bivvy hike. Made me wonder - we always assume the Mournes are the place to be but where else could you do a 2 day hike with a wild bivvy inbetween that was on the flat?

True, could do a coast to coast cycle with a camp in the Sperrins. Start Donegal coast area finish in Belfast

Posted too soon.

I bet there would also be some really wild spots in Donegal & I've never been on the sperrins and would love to give them a go.
