LEVEL 1 ATB INSTRUCTOR - INTRODUCTION
AIMBA developed this course to ensure that all novice riders receive suitable basic training to the same standard, so that the novice enjoys a safe and rapid progression into the sport.

The AIMBA Level 1 Mountain Board Instructor certification course is open to all competent boarders, aged 15 years and older.

The level 1 course is an introductory course, designed to give successful candidates the skills necessary to begin a role as a new instructor in the industry. Beginner teaching methods, understanding of basic mountain boarding techniques, as well as lesson planning and effective communication skills will be addressed.

Candidates will receive coaching on mountain boarding basic skills, as well as feedback on their teaching skills, with the goal of reaching the Level 1 standard in both of these areas.

Successful candidates will be certified to teach beginner mountain boarders the required basic skills necessary to achieve Level 1 boarder status.
