The Glens of Antrim are a lovely spot. Last Easter during our good spell of weather I got the bus around the coast to Waterfoot and walked up to Glenariff Forest.
Its a great spot with toilets and lovely walks near by. You can drive to the campsite if your not feeling overly active and then just walk some forest track around the waterfalls. Reasonable rates and from what I remember it was quiet (Dont count on this last comment, I imagine just like anywhere else if you go in the height of summer there are going to be yahoo's around)
You could always use this as a 1 night spot and continue around the coast the next day, lots to see and do around there. Why not make an adventure of it?

I was thinking of maybe doing my original duke of ed route finishing at slemish, i actually loved that walk through the antrim hill and jus pitching up tent n waking in the middle of a forest.
Tbh i think that loads of campsites i.e tollymore are full of yahoos during the summer months thats y i was thinking of camping off the beaten track. i cant be bothered with them. i prefer this no point wilding it if u have ur comforts like ur toilet etc. lol

They ruin it for everybody.
And waking up in a forest is definately better than waking up to everyday hussle and bustle.
