Any of you guys interested in competing in the mourne mountain marathon? or do you know someone who might? I was hoping to do it with a friend but he's decided that after 8 months "his foray into the hills has come to an end" (his words not mine!) I was hoping to enter in the C class this year and dont really care about overall placement as long as we win, only joking.
It is good fun and a good experience

C Class Info
The C-Class demands a lower level of speed, endurance and navigational skill than the Elite and B Classes. It is suitable for Teams who have, perhaps some mountain marthon experience or who are good hill walkers who want to stretch themselves and their navigational capabilities on a 2 day event.
Distance - 35km over 2 days.

When you say slower pace how slow? How do you think you''l cope i if i done it i wouldn't want to hold you back?

It doesnt have to be that fast, Their are cut offs at certain points were if you dont make it by a certain time you can't continue. But I'm more for the experience than the winning!

That was the Mourne wall walk.......I think.
Might be a laugh but I'll see how I go on saturday

yeah that was the mourne wall "walk". thousands went to it tho the mmm is tidly in comparison!
