The Great Big Photo Thread
« on: June 12, 2013 »

There's nothing better than seeing pics of people's fun in the outdoors. If you take a pic you think other people might like, post it here. There's no topic or theme other than "Outdoors", we all just want to enjoy the fun that everyone else is having while we're sitting in front of the computer screen. Feel free to post pictures you already have in your collection if you think they would be enjoyed by the NI-Wilders - pics don't have to be taken right now! However, the best possible picture is live from your phone while you're doing something fun (for maximum jealousy 8))

The best way to post pics is detailed here

You can also upload direct from Tapatalk to this thread. If you can't be bothered with any of that, just email the picture to the email address below with some details in the subject / body as to what the photo is, where you took it and what your forum name is and we'll take care of the rest. If you have a smartphone you can send it straight from the phone, just save the email address below in your contacts!

Please provide details if you can, it makes it easier to appreciate the photo!

Just goes to show how good the cameras in phones are - this was taken with my wee Samsung.
Perfect weather conditions, if anything too hot!
I can recommend the Glen Nevis campsite too - great facilities, including a good chippie on site and a bar nearby.
Interestingly, there were red deer swinging in the halfway loch on the way down.  These were so tame I was able to walk within 30 feet of them, quite a contrast from the ones I see in Donegal - they're gone if they see you half a mile away!

Took this last week on our causeway tour.  Love the sea mist between and below me and one of my group.

I managed to get a couple of cracking days out in the Antrim Hills.  Good weather makes such a difference up there.

Yeah, the North Coast is one of the best, most beautiful places to be. We were camping round at Glenmore Lodge for a few days. View from the tent was amazing  :)
