Binnian dander
« on: January 05, 2012 »

Good day for a dander up Binnian,as usual parked at Carricklittle carpark and made our way up the lane and onto the mountain.Followed the wall at the stile right to the summit torr, were we stopped for a nice cup of bovril, scrambling Binnians summit torr was out the question as the winds had again increased.Had another go at these panorama photographs.Made our way down by the north torr and down the newly laid path.

Lenny's second time in the Mourne's,credit to him, never complained once,I've always enjoyed taking different people walking.Got talking to a team of men from the Mourne heritage trust who were repairing the upper Carricklittle path, they've done a great job of maintaining the pathways

Just a wee cheap Nikon point & shoot, think it's an 880 model, retails at around £120,which is good for a 14 MP camera, comes with editing suite software cd.I was up replacing the damaged geocache on Binnians summit

That is great Mourneman. I notice from the Cache found that you put the notice up as "Found it" Does this not add on tour your total finds? I often wonder if you pit two or three "Found it", does it add on to your overall total?

PS Great pics.
