Hey folks,
I'm competing in the MMM B class on the 15/16 Sept. and would be interested in the lend of a light sleeping bag of sufficient warmth.  My current summer sleeper is only rated to 12 degrees: I've been meaning to upgrade but haven't saved enough yet for my dream bag.

The event requires a 1-season or 4 degree bag. Anything with a lower comfort +2 to +8 will probably be ok for me, and the lighter the better (sub 800g). Alpkit 400, Rab Neutrino 200, PHD minim, ME Xero would be amazing, but what you got? Vango Venom? etc.

I'll be wearing full clean base-layers, keeping it dry-bagged, and know how to look after kit.
I'm willing to offer a few quid to rent your investment for the weekend. Feel free to PM me.

Thanks for considering. Craig

I'm afraid the best I could offer that is lightweight is the Tesco one season bag which would probably still be chilly lying on a Spanish beach in July! I have a Pipedream 600 you're welcome to but I'm pretty sure it's >950g

which is what my son used last year, with no sleeping mat of any sort, on a very wet campsite  :o  he didn't get much sleep  :(  (he's not as hard as he thought he was  :D , but he still finished the event!)

I do have an alpkit 400, which i was looking forward to using this year, do i lend you it in the hope of ni-wild glory at the finish line  ???  problem is my other sleeping bags won't fit in my new rucksack  :(

LOL - no, no Liam, I'm not going to take from anyone else using them! Glory is not on our minds... if it by chance happens, it'll be a bigger surprise than last time  :o

I did use my jungle bag last time, but I had every wet layer on. I have better 'other' insulation that I can bring this time, but looking at the requirements, wondering if I would pass if inspected!

Just thought I'd chance a shout out... may even pick something up on eBay and sell it on after.

Thanks all. A work colleague has hooked me up with a MH Phantom! How could I say no to that?

As Lenny says!

Bucky? For you? That's what your mule team-mate is for... It'll be a snifter of port for me in a wee plastic bottle, probably to mix in with a sleep-easy tea bag. Nightcap of champions  ;)
