You aren't the only one LandyLiam!  Had the opportunity to lend money too.  Shame though.

I think its a shame there are people prepared to pay so much money for a crappy tent.

Someone mentioned about buying 3 and selling 2 on ebay, I use ebay and I watch certain things, I see it happen all the time, someone buys from the states, a few weeks later its on at three time the price. Never sells and end up selling cheaper.

I just dont know, £130 whatever it is, for a few square metres of material, madness.

The price of any material is completely justifiable if your getting use out of it. If you think otherwise you are the mad one.

Your partner must never have got a diamond then? Can you imagine paying hundreds of pounds for a stone?

Looks like we need a mass Laser Comp test :) I'm pretty desperate to get my Vaude Hogan Ultralight wet, it's been lying in the hall for to long to never have been erected.

I'm not sure that is a good comparison. Anyway, I have never met a woman that would accept a diamond ring at a few hundered pounds, if indeed it is possible to get a ring at that price.

BTW, I am just annoyed that I missed the deal  :'(
