Hi, I am just wondering when will the christmas camp be this year? Even if its a ruff Idea. The futher away from the date of the camp the better so I have can book it off work for holiday.
Thanks in advanced.

Looks like you broke the forum!! :o

I think the forum was broke long ago. I thought there would be a reply by the admin at least by now. by the looks of it. Seems like there won't be one.
-
bit sad really...
-
I leave you guys for one year and this happens!
What happened though?
-
Alas, there wont be a Christmas camp this year. The organisation of it is time consuming and unfortunately life is just too complicated at the moment.
-
Hopefully there will no one next year with any luck.
-
How about about a Christmas hike instead ,will still give us a chance to catch up with old friends and meet some new. Maybe a wee walk up the Annalong Valley and take in the caves at Percy Bysshe & Cove for a bit of craic, followed by a good feed at Carrick Little Cottage. I'll throw this out there and say Sunday 22nd December meeting at Carrick Little car park at 11am.

Have you checked out my videos on the last 2 Christmas camps (in snow and in rain)? Great craic, great food, great people, great camps......hopefully they will happen again!

That's a fine idea Liam. I think I am busy that day with family stuff but I'm checking if my wife to see if I will give me a pass out! I'm working on it!
-
Great idea Liam unfortunately I'm going too have to wince out as I've family commitments that day. They get in the road of all my fun (tisk tisk) :)
-
I could potentially make a dander on Sun 22nd but I'll not know until close to the time.
-
22nd is the winter solstice... I would be happy to hike and camp!
-
Also up for camping Sunday, weather looks favourable.
-
Weather looks good for tomorrow. Hopefully see some of you at carrick little car park 11am. I might even turn up at 10am for a wee fry at the cafe 😉. I’ll be in a gold Volvo estate BV61 registration, meet at the car. If you need my phone number PM me. It’ll be a slow pace, my wife is even thinking of going!
-
Going to hammock camp Annalong Wood so I’ll be parking in the upper carpark ( silver Suzuki vitara), I’ll be the one with the massive rucksack on lol.
-
Unfortunately it seems my time is better spent tidying the house before Santa comes ;)
Have a good one, am a bit jealous!
-
Well folks did any of you get out for a walk or a hammock?
-
Yea, wee dander up and around Percy Bysshe and Cove cave, couple of the guys explored the caves. I had a great solo camp in the woods, very mild weather and the sunrise was glorious.
