Marshalls for the Mourne Way Marathon 9th June 2012

26extreme are looking for volunteers to marshall the Mourne Way Marathon this year (9/June/12).



People are needed to to fill the following positions:
 
-          Out Walkers (to check route is OK, signage etc)
-          Back markers
-          Feed station marshals
-          Critical junction marshals
-          Medical support

I'll amend this post with further information as it becomes available. 26extreme will likely provide some free gear for volunteers.

I'd like to be involved in helping out with this,be a good experience watching the event,maybe bring a friend with me as standing in one point for several hours alone could be well borning,stove & some curry sounds good,ed you up for this?

Good man. Apart from more hills it's definitely easier on the legs than the city marathon. Both enjoyable, but in entirely different ways. MikeD did both last year, just took 'er handy like  8)

well thats me signed up for marshalling,will be looking after any NI-WILD runner's,can carry clothing & food for our guys in the event  ;D
