Title: Windshirt
Post by: ModBot on May 03, 2009
I'm looking for a windshirt for walking and canoeing. Preferrably one thats breathable, somewhat waterproof and light. Most of all cheapish would be great ;)

Any ideas?

M and M direct do a shirt called the 511 tactical shirt, it is the Ray Mears use's and is about £22, just type 511 tactical into the search bar on M and M direct as they don't have them on the public site.
I found these shirt's to be great for the summer as they have an open back vent and pit vent's which keep you cool when the going get's tough.

Thanks Davy, that looks spot on for messing in a forest or round a campfire but would it breathe and keep you dry if you were walking?

I can't rate these shirt's highly enough, they are the dog's dangly's when it come's to keeping you cool and dry, like I said they have an open vent in the back and pit vent's as well as protecting you from the sun.
