No idea what my bosses ID is, he has only just looked into this last couple of weeks.  I will look into it more over the weekend.  Need to get my chickens sorted out first.

I've been geocaching for about a year now ;D

Really great fun and takes you to some real beautiful places you may not have even known about. If you have kids then it's even more fun; gets them off the Xbox and away from Facebook  :D

I've tried geocaching a few times but never managed to find any caches. It was pretty disappointing.

Do you have GPS on your mobile phone?  I know there are geocaching apps on the iPhone including one made by the geocaching.com people, Groundspeak.  I've also used my car sat nav to try and locate a cache before as you can still enter the co-ordinates into it.

PS: Moved this topic as it falls under the "Walking, Running, Orienteering and Geocaching" section.  Just makes it easier to find in the future :)

Almost got a FTF a while past, but was beaten to it by 15minutes :)

Scribble, did you ever get your Secret Santa cache planted somewhere?

i use the car satnav for geocaching (tomtom one classic) not ideal but when you get used to its liitle foibles it works quite well, only major problem i have is it won't let me put some of the mourne locations as favourites as they are so far from a road it assumes i'm inputting the wrong co-ords, you could probably pick an old one up from ebay for under £30, although a new one (from £90) would be handier as fresh batteries help when you have to leave the car for a while

There a few in Carnfunnock we can do on Sunday  :)

You can have a play with my Garmin Dakota.

I did a few with my Tomtom, while technically they work a dedicated GPS loaded with geocaches makes things easier.
