better believe it!

did you know that a laminated mournes map weighs less than than a normal map + a map case, every little weight saving helps, this is nearly as bad as when i used to count the rivets in my land rover   :D

now just have to work out what drink offers to most alcohol units per gramme, why is beer so bloomin heavy  >:( but it is the same weight as water, hmmm.....

all ready to go now, had my last supper, well more like a fish supper washed down with budweiser, not sure if thats the ideal meal the night before but it tastes great  ;D

my rucksack weighs in at 12kg and my sons is 8kg, thats includes water coats, food (approx 2 litres water each), decided on southern comfort for the nightcap  :)  thindery showers forecast for tomorrow, could be interesting !

aw Liam, good luck! if your stuck ill run up the nearest mountain with some supplies! baked some banana and raisin cookies tonight! but i can also supply clean water!  ;D
