Mega clear-out! *ALL SOLD*
« on: January 19, 2011 »

Due to new gear acquisition, and my strict anti-hoarding policy, I'm looking to sell these items.  All in perfect condition, unless noted otherwise.  Prices are what I expect to get on eBay.
Please don't message me with 'what will you take for...' - I will ignore it.  Make an offer and I'll think about it.
Anyone welcome to try on shoes or clothes at a time that suits us both.

Will post pictures below, to help loading.

Granite Gear Nimbus Meridian ultralight frame pack - £120 (£177 new)
1.6Kg, 62 litres, adjustable back.  Used twice, WHW and EBC treks. Carried 20Kg no bother.

PHD Hispar 700 sleeping bag - £250 (equivalent ~£370+)
1.4kg, full RH zip option. Comfort -19 C. 800+ european down. Drishel outer. Black inner for airing quickly.
Used a few times in Spain & Nepal, always with full base layers, so clean. Always aired well and stored in large sack (included + stuff sack). The new Hispars have different figures due to 900 down and short zip, but check the prices! This is a top quality mountaineering bag.

PHD minimus jacket - £120 (£200+ with hood and fabric).
Black ripstop goretex outer (not seam sealed), Medium (roomy for layers, see photos), Button off down hood, 800 down, only 460g.
I have worn this over 2 base layers at -12 C. Epic warmth. Comes with stuff sack.

Thermarest Prolite 4 - £50 (now prolite plus £80)
680g, 3.8in thick, 4 season full length mat. 51 x 183 cm. Used many times, even directly on snow and ice. Always stored inflated.

Primus Gravity stove - £20 (£65 new)
Remote gas canister, stable, simmers well. Stuff sack, windshield, ground reflector/protector, sticker, service tool included.  Piezo ignitor that sparks, but I have never once found it useful: that aside, the stove is amazing. Great for large pots, uneven ground, wind - I boiled water at 3000m / -12 with this using Coleman Isobutane!  Fits into MSR pots below.  Just looks a little used, few heat holes in stuff sack.

MSR Alpine Stainless pot set
- £20 (£45 new)
1.5L & 2.0L pots with lid for both/frying and light lifter. Stuff sack. Lid has slight colouration from frying. Pretty indestructible, and easily cleaned with grass, sand, snow.  I usually only take one of the pots with me to save weight. Great for 2+ people or melting snow.

Camelbak Unbottle 70 2L - £10 (£28 new)
2L, lockable bite valve hose, insulated reservoir, points for attaching to packs. Used infrequently on longer trips. Always sterilized before and after with Milton fluid. No leaks, but cover is a little dusty and a few scratches on plastic bits.

Blacks Trek Mug
- £3
Brand new in packaging. Double walled stainless mug with handle and lid.

Sealskinz Trekking Socks - £15 (£35 new)
Size Large 9-11. Seamless, loop pile merino inner. Very comfortable worn alone. Have enjoyed using twice, but my feet have expanded, and they are too thick for me to use in my boots (light hikers or liners for me now, but have bought activity ankle sealskinz for running which are great).

Quechua rock shoes - £15 (£35 new)
EU 44, UK 9.5, unlined, velcro strap climbing shoes. Got in Decathalon. I'm normally a 9 / 9.5 and they are a good close fit without socks. Used twice at the climbing wall. Seem decent, can't go wrong at that price for a beginner, and make a massive difference compared to trainers. Only selling as I have the chance to buy some Red Chillis cheapo through work.

Black Diamond ATC belay plate - £8 (£15 new)
Blue. Practically an industry standard. Ideal for indoor and crag use, single or double rope. Used at the Ozone. I'm getting something with extra friction for icy, thin alpine ropes and there is no point having two.
