Does any know of any off-road bike trails or mountain bike trails worth a go?

Hey MG :)

There are a few half-decent ones.  Nothing like there is in Scotland etc., unfortunately.  If you go to TrailBadger.com, they have lists, ratings, etc.  It's a local site just for MTB trails :)

There is also a decent biking forum run by real cycles at mtbrider.com

Yes, on the Tullyree Road, between Kilcoo and Bryansford, next to Moneyscalp Forest

Happydayz not too far then. Do you not think that the Mourne area is under used for outdoor sports when you look at Scotland and the Cairngorn National Park?

Just joined this forum and am looking through all the posts.  Can't believe nobody on this thread mentioned Tollymore and Donard woods!  The trails in there are incredible and though technically not legal the FC turn a blind eye to such an extent that families camping there bring racks of bikes.  Just ride up the forest tracks and keep your eyes peeled around you for the sweet singletracks!
