That's a nice wee site... I've never heard of a Fire Piston before. I will be having a look on Youtube to see one in action.

I never thought of getting a fire piston, but it is something i may consider. The more things you have means a better chance of getting a nice wee fire going ;D
Fire piston or striker for getting a fire going ???
Ill have to try this and review it.

Been meaning to get a fire piston for some time now just to have something that lasts longer than a classic fire steel. But 70 quid!!!!! There's plenty of only designs for making your own for less than a fiver and even the retail ones normally don't go for more than about 15 or so. For 70 quid I want a full lifetime warranty along with assurances that it will never stick or slip.
