Donard Wood 8th Aug 09 - Review

Well, I've gotten a nights sleep and have some energy again so these are some of my photos.
I'll add my thoughts on the trip when I get a moment but needless to say it was incredible and our 3am summiting of Donard was a totally amazing achievement for this forums first official trip! If this is what we can manage on our initial "get to know you outing" I'm quite excite about what is to come!

Looks like you had a great trip guy's.
Sorry we couldn't get up but we got into Newcastle about 15.30 and the place was packed, we couldn't get a parking space anywhere.
Hopefully we will get to the next one.

Sounds like you had a great time. You must have been there early as Newcastle was packed with the festival and the pipe band thing going on. Pictures look fun. We were looking accross at the Mournes and we swear we could see a fire. Now I see your pictures and the blooming great Bonfire you had, it could well have been you, lol ;). I bet that kept you warm all night. Hopefully we can all get together soon.

That looks tops! Makes me very jealous to have missed it, but had to be in London for the day so what can I do  :-\
