Hello everyone. Well I have just registered mainly to get an idea of the how's and where's of wild camping.  I haven't camped really since my days in the scouts- a long time ago.  I am keen to get back into it but work commitments and family restrict my time- although the family are keen to give things a go as well. Hopefully we can get a bit inspiration/ motivation to get out there from the forum.

Hi Chris glad your getting back into the walking,im much the same what with work and family taking up most of my time.Im aiming to get out at least once a month now and am looking forward to a bit of winter walking down in the Mournes.

Great stuff, wild camping is so much more fun than organised campsite camping. Welcome!
