Does anyone know if this bus only goes one way? I'd love to use it as a gateway to get into the hills from Carrick Little to save parking the car there but it would be quite a trip having to circle the entire Mournes first.

Far as I it only goes one way,anti-clockwise,so you'd have to do the whole route, thinking I'll use it next week & get off near Spelga walking back across the mountains, muck, loughshannon, meelbeg, meelmore, bernagh onto the brandy pad they down the saddle

I'm sure they would be.  I've met a bus driver who was walking in the hills, took his dog on a bus from Newcastle to Belfast with no troubles.

I'd be interested to know about that £20 deal they have going (read it in the Mourne Observer) for unlimited travel at the weekends.  Is this throughout a period of time, or one weekend only?

The only downside to going outdoors is having to come back inside.
