Title: Ulster Canoe Festival
Post by: DryBag on July 14, 2016
The Ulster Canoe Festival will be 16th-18th September at Shane's Castle and Toome.
It's for people with at least some canoeing experience and you should have or arrange your own boat etc.

The weekend package costs £45 and includes 2 nights camping, up to 4 coach-led sessions, a Spit Roast/Barbecue mix, a special goodie bag including an event t-shirt, access to lots of demo kit including boats and paddles, various on-the-spot prizes, and entry into the Exclusive Hou Challenges

You can register on the website: http://www.ulstercanoefestival.com/

Do you know if it will be a kid friendly weekend?

That depends on how many kids we get signed up.
If there's more than three or four we'll organise a kids programme.

Well that's easy, I have 4 kids! They have been working on solo paddling so a workshop for them to improve skills would be great.
