« on: June 14, 2012 »

About the Event
This is a 1 day course where young and not so young can have fun together in the great outdoors and maybe learn a thing or two from us and each other.

You will get the chance to build shelters, make fire, do some back woods cooking.

There will be tracking, wilderness walks and wild food forages and altogether a fun day out.

This course is available for those aged 8yrs and over. Anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

What to Bring
What you will need is some basic outdoor clothing, drinks, packed-lunch, and a day-sac. It will also be worth bringing a notebook and a camera for keeping a record of what you have learned.

A suggested kit-list is available and it will also be e-mailed to you with your e-mail receipt after your booking has been accepted.

Any specialist equipment needed will be provided for your use during the day.
