THIS MONTHS THEME IS "OUCH"

This months theme will be "OUCH" chosen by last months Winner, MudGoat.

With the rare appearance of the sun here in Ireland and our pasty fair skin I'm guessing there might be a few sunburn photos sent in this month

All members who submit an entry will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Zippo Hand Warmer.

The Entry that gains the most votes will be crowned this months winner and will get to select the theme for the next month's Photo Competition.

All entries need to be submitted by Midnight on Sunday 30th June and will be displayed here shortly after.

The Monthly Photo Competition is open to NI-Wild Members only. Only one entry per member per month will be accepted. Please remember to include your NI Wild Username when submitting your entry.

No specialist equipment is required to enter this Photo comp and remember you're the photographer, so your interpretation will be respected.

Not too many members experiencing the "Ouch" Factor this month, which I suppose can only be a good thing. Wouldn't wish pain on any NI Wilders

Vote cast. Nothing from me this month again, think we need to see a return to topics that everyone on an outdoors forum would have an entry for. Mountains, rivers, beaches, outdoor activities etc.

I tend to agree... Entries have dropped dramatically since we have started moving off-topic. I liked the idea of "Ouch" as a theme until I actually got round to trying to come up with something. I was either going to have to dig through my back catalogue for a shot of a past injury, fake an injury or cause and injury and get myself a good lawyer to get a GBH charge against me quashed

Well done all that did come up with a shot to match the theme.

Surprisingly, "Beaches" or "Mountains" have never been selected as a theme so for the next few months we will try to encourage the theme picker to think of something outdoorsy.

All good creative thinking from the entries!

I can think of a few Ouch moments but don't tend to take a photo of myself at the time... just a difficult one.
