Anything with movement that I may want to slow down I use R3 mainly because of th 60fps. All mountain bike stuff is 60fps.

I use Sony Vegas for editing. Just the first one I tried and liked so kept using it. Does all and more than I need.

So the quality is still decent at 60fps. I thought it might have reduced.

Look how compressed your tyre is on the top picture. Madness.

So I'm guessing it takes the already slow-mo and slows it down even more?

I must give it a try at some point.

You can use the velocity meter in sony vegas to get a similar effect. Takes a bit of time though to get the right frame rate do you don't cause flicker. I have been meaning to get the twixtor plugin but still haven't.

For me the GoPro software does a great job of slowing down the footage. There is a good programme something like jpeg out that splits video into a series of stills.
