Hi all.
My name is Mark & I live in Bangor.

My username is Blokarter because I take part in the sport of Blokart. It is a small sand yacht which folds into a bag & fits in the boot of most cars.

I do quite a bit of mountain walking with my wife, mostly in the Mournes. I do tend to stay to the Trassey / Brandy Pad / Bloody Bridge side of the Mournes at the moment.

I found this forum by accident & have been watching it with interest for a while (yes, lurking). I may not be the most active member you have but I will comment on posts relevant to me or what I am doing.

Hi Mark, welcome to the site.

How much does a Blokart go for then? (There was me thinking Blokart was Man-Painting Wink)

Thanks for the welcomes.

J- New Karts start at about £1400 ready to go at the moment. Second hand hold their money too & are few and far between but do pop up sometimes.

BLOKE ART ?  Yeah, heard it all before . LOL

Welcome to the forum Mark, there are a few Bangor folk on here (myself included!).  I'm guessing you don't "blokart" on Ballyholme beech though?! Smiley

You are right there ! Too small. We get up to 40MPH quite easily & find the dogs on Ballyholme dont expect you to be traveling at those speeds.
We need BIG beaches..
