We're goinjg to postpone the canoeing trip yet again as the weather is just too changeable to be confident about getting kids over to Salt Island.
Instead we're thinking of a family camp somewhere - usual story, probably Donard Wood for some craic and meat based fun round the fire. We'll park at Newcastle and walk up the Glen River but as ever, people are welcome to tramp in by whatever means/route they fancy.

Should be okay for this... could do with an overnighter! I might park at Meelmore though and have a bit of a hike over to stretch the legs. Hopefully the weather will pick up by the end of the week cos it ain't looking too great at moment.

Shall check the diary, had thought about Donegal to see the folks, but then again we are off on hols in 2 weeks and will see them then so might be a good chance to get the hammocks out again and come early this time. Will keep you posted, but would be Mrs and the kids and myself as usual. HoU
