Saturday July 3rd Cavehill dander 11.00 am . meet at Zoo entrance just before Bellevue Arms bridge.

Gentle walk through Hazelwood  towards the caves and possibly on to Belfast Castle for refreshments. Final route decision on the day.

Sounds awesome, Cave Hill is lovely when it's nice. Alas I'm officialing (or is it refereeing?) a childrens birthday.

This is a definite possibility for me.

Especially as you are using phrases and teminology like "take it easy" and "Gently".

I've done Cavehill many many times. I grew up living within 10 mins walk from the entrance to it.

Lots of history there and interesting places along the proper paths as well as off them.

Could prove to be an interesting day.
