I think we've done a canoeing show of hands before but we've never actually managed a trip yet.

Anyone who has a canoe and fancies a paddle reply with what you have and what you'd like to do. Anyone who doesn't have a canoe but would be interested in filling a spare seat or renting also feel free to reply.

I have a Canadian and I'm well up for either day trips or canoe camping!

I don't have a canoe, but would love to go for a paddle some time if any has a spare seat (there's a technical term for that, right?) Wink

Actually, will have to get along to one of those MTA sessions again, really enjoyed it last time.

I'd be well up for something. Maybe a wee overnighter somewhere. I (and my mate) both have dagger blackwaters and would fancy doing some-where different to Strangford Lough. Maybe a wee bit of the Bann or other handy river sometime..
i would need a good bit of warning though so i can get sorted with a weekend off work.

I would be interested in a spot of canoe camping. I have a pyranah master but I think I would use my trusty old
fiberglass kayak as you can fit so much stuff into it!  The pyranah is no good on flat water anyhow....anyone any suggstions as to
were to go?  I normally head to Coney Island both winter and summer but with a bit of notice I would be up for trying a new spot.

God, I promised the wife I'd stay home this weekend but if the weather was awesome enough for me to bring the small boy I'd consider it.

I'd love to go to this, but I think I'm going to have to tie myself to my desk at home this weekend.  I've been doing a part-time course this year on top of work and with 4 weeks of this academic year left I've realised that I've around 5 assignments left to finish Shocked  Guess I haven't really changed since my school days Grin

Right almost ready for the off. Heading to Delamont Country Park to do some geocaching, then pop over to salt island for the night. Grin

Must remember to bring my camera and will post some picks after we come back.
