A man has died after he suffered a suspected heart attack at the Cuilcaigh Mountain trail boardwalk in Co Fermanagh.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday, 13 February, following a report that a man was suffering from chest pains.

The North West Mountain Rescue Team (NWMRT) were also alerted to the scene.

A spokesperson from NWRMT said: "HM Coastguard had already been informed of situation and Heli R 199 had been tasked and was on route.
"The casualty's friends started CPR until Ambulance crew arrived who then took over and continued CPR for 45 mins, before the casualty was pronounced deceased.

"NWMRT then helped with the extraction off the mountain and we would like to offer our condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased."
