We went through a spate of trying more exciting BBQing - making our own burgers and trying stuff like fish but tbh I like the simple traditional stuff and if you don't have a decent bottle of red in you by the time the coals are ready to cook on then you're not doing it right  ::) I have some bannock mix left from the canoeing trip - might give it a whirl!
