Title: Lone tree - Annalong Valley
Post by: whoRya on November 13, 2016
I had the thought recently that I don't recall having seen that little lone tree in the Annalong Valley in a while.  A quick search on google images brings up plenty of photos, it's a bit iconic.  I hope it is still there.  Has anyone else seen it recently?

I haven't been up that way for ages (maybe this time last year) but when I am I always look out for it as I'm always thinking that sooner or later some goon is gonna cut it down or push it over. Hopefully it's still there, it was the last time I was up that direction.

Saw this wee gem last weekend again.  Nearly got the same angle as that first photo that I linked :)  Mournes were looking lovely.
