This is the first time that I have seen this thread and I can't believe I have missed out on seeing some of the fantastic photo that have been posted  :o

Phil_b, you have taken some very impressive shots and it has totally inspired me to brush the dust off my Nikon and get into the hills this winter.

I have got so used to grabbing my LX5 compact on the way out the door that I had pretty much forgot that I own a DSLR.  I'm even finding myself getting even lazier and relying more and more on my iPhone these days, which is such a shame because when I got my DSLR kit together a few years ago it was my pride and joy.

Hopefully, with the wee bit of time I have off over Christmas, my DSLR will be reborn and what better excuse could there be for getting an early morning walk in the hills.

Great thread and great photos... Keep em coming  :)

Nice one Claire, who needs a DSLR when you're in the right place at the right time you'll get a good pic, and with a smaller camera you have more chance of having it with you  ;D

Some pics of a sunset stroll at Murlough this evening

Hi folks.

I just thought I'd post this website that my brother has created, he's always finding new places in the world to explore, and includes his love of photography into his trips.

Tanzania, Arazona, the Amazon, Patagonia, are only just a handful of the places he's been to.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Photos in this thread are just awesome!!! Where would we be without our cameras to capture great moments?
Some random pics using my phone (iP5) from last years adventures  :D
I usually just point & press and now and again I sort of get a 'decent' one lol.
All relevant to being outside and enjoying the great outdoors. Hope you like them.
Areas include Antrim Coast, Mournes, Orkney/Hoy, Stoer, Cairngorms/Glencoe & Morocco.
