Very interesting. Especially the part about sleeping diagonally across the hammock. Makes it much more comfy,

haha, nice one! we only got into it recently, (few months now) and have hung nearly every weekend since, rain hail sleet or storm.
my tents wont see the light of day ever again and my brother has already 'acquired' one of them.
surplus to requirements it was.

when it comes to hammocks, there is very little required to make all your own gear ;)
