ok quick question

Have a look at this cloud base value
http://www.accuweather.com/ukie/mountain-forecast.asp?partner=accuweather&traveler=0&site=UKMOOL%3BMourne+Mountains&fday=2&fhour=0

Does this mean the value in ft/mx100 or just the value on the box?

If it's x100 there would never be an low cloud in the Mournes.

its multiplied by 100 so the cloud base will be at roughly 3400ft.

T-Tdx4x100= Cloud base AGL

If you know your temp and your dew point you can work it out.

Personally, I just look up and see where the cloud is.

If I can see blue sky that means that it's gonna rain.

If i can't see blue sky then that means it is raining.
