I went to see Free Solo, a documentary film about Alex Honnold climbing El Capitan without any climbing gear. It's a great watch guaranteed to leave you with clammy hands! The QFT has had a revamp too and is very comfy these days!

I was considering going to see that too but think I'll just buy it. Looks really good!

Alex Honnold is mental, a "few sandwiches short of a picnic" my mum would have said. Incredibly talented guy!
He features in my favourite add for North Face, appropriately called "Question Madness"

Hi folks,
I've not posted before but just pop in for a nosey now and again. I'm not into climbing although it does fascinate me to watch folk with kahunas this big! I'm more of a wild camp kinda guy especially as beer and extreme climbing wouldn't really mix ;D
Anyway if you haven't already checkout a show on Netflix called Valley Uprising.
Cheers

Welcome! :)
Fair play to you bringing beer when wild camping. I usually bring wine; less weight to carry ;D
I watched that Valley Uprising a while back. I thought it was very good.

Thanks,
Usually four big cans of ale and a wee hip flask (or more if the hike in isn't so bad). Yeah it's few years old but definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

oh I, a few cans is always tasty after the hike in. I find two or three send me of for a deep and peaceful sleep. one breakfast beer the next morning and it's good to go.

I like your style ;D

I do almost all of my wild camping on the summits, hence the weight concern.
