Even with the gear cull to make our packs light, I think a bottle of port (carried in a platypus) will probably make its way to the campsite, either that or getting drunk enroute if its all going horribly wrong  :D

Now I want to come ::) Terribly civilized bringing port too rather than a nasty spirit. Next year you should go for full evening wear  8) ;D

And maybe a selection of fine cheeses?  ;)

Not a huge fan of drinking spirits neat, and not too fond of red wine, so port is a good alternative for weight/alcohol ratio.

As for the dinner suit suggestion, maybe next year :D

You should do the whole thing in a dinner suit marathon runner style!
