Survival Bracelet

There are a lot of variations of these and this may have already been covered but this looks like quite a handy contraption for an emergency  :)

Thats quite cool.

However.....

I would love to see him do that with cold hands or with one hand if he broke a few fingers for example. Also the first thing to get wet in bad weather is your hands and gloves and by extenstion anything attached to your wrist.

I reckon you would be better having it all loose in your pocket though. Its alot dryer in there.

I reckon if you're going to carry your tinder etc. with you, you can't beat your pockets.

Much better to practice with different tinders, learn where to get them etc so you can have success wherever you end up.
That way, you can get away with carrying your firesteel and just a small bunch of birch bark, cotton wool etc..............

It looks cool but is a total gimmick, that firesteel is too short, the jute will be soaked in the rain as stated above. Learn how to use what is out there not what you have to take with you. I had a laugh at the comment he put on saying he is going to patent it. Its another example of americanised rubbish in my opinion, a bracelet of paracord is a usefull way to carry cord but thats as far as i would take it.
