.....how to feck do i post pictures, have tried to do so.... straight from the My Pictures folder on the computer....no joy... :-\

I stand to be corrected but I think your photos have to be hosted online somewhere before they can be 'uploaded' to NI Wild. Many people user Flickr to do so, it is free for limited use (anyone know when you have to pay for it?). Once the photos are online you can add them when posting a reply, by clicking the second icon from the left above the smilies.
Having said that I have had success and failure in the past posting pictures, so others may offer more help.
Can anyone advise me how you affect the size of the photos? Any I have put up were quite small, some more recent ones I've seen (Dowser's) are much bigger.

You can embed images in your posts by clicking the "Additional Options" link above the post button and using the "Attach" section. This will embed a small image that can be clicked view full size.
Personally for occasional image posting I'd use these chaps:
http://imgur.com/
They have Hassle free uploading and they'll give you text you just cut and paste into your post to embed a full size image. (NB if you sign up (free) with Imgur then you can delete images later.)

.....am/am i completely missing the "Additional Options" above the Post button....so still no joy.....have the following shortcuts: hit alt+s to submit/post or alt+p to preview ....anyone esle any ideas :'(
